In the past decade or so, people never really gave Michael Jackson the credit he deserves. They were only concerned with his eccentric lifestyle, his accusations and completely forgot about his music. We don't give him credit for the influence he has LARGELY on today's mainstream music and dance. For example, any song you hear with "Ma ma say ma ma sa, Ma ma coo sa" - That's Michael Jackson. He has the best selling album of all time, the King Of Pop.
The first CD I ever got was 'Invincible' which is also Michael Jackson's last album. It came out in 2001. It oepned my eyes to music, and music is the biggest part of who I am. I grew up around Michael Jackson's music and it's been there ever since. It doesn't seem possible that he could be gone now, because just earlier this month I was dancing to his songs at my parents' 25th wedding anniversary, heck, last week I was watching his music videos with one of my best friends. He was working on his comeback ; but unfortunatly it didn't happen. He has spent every moment of his life in the spotlight, and knows nothing of living like an everday person. His father was cruel and abusive, overworking him as a child. Most people say the reason he got cosmetic surgery was to rid the fact he was starting to look like his father. And set aside the troubled childhood he had, the media is cruel to him. He's made the punchline of jokes, labeled rude and derogatory names. He never let that get to him, he was probably the only person who stood up to Barbara Walters, he's a legend, a hero, the King Of Pop.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
